ECLIPS X WOODIES CLOTHING
THE DENIM JACKET RE-INVENTED
Brief
Woodies Clothing is a clothing brand that manufactures customized shirts by Jacob Wood who was a Macys MD and is CEO of Woodies Clothing. The company sells its products based on the size of a customer online. Due to successful branding in a row from Studio Kyclops, Woodies Clothing started a new project, The Denim Jacket. We carried out the brand's overall branding and Kickstarter projects this time as well.
Approach
The biggest concern was how to easily show the customization process to the customers for the successful launch of the customized denim jacket. We needed more time to record and film because, in a customized denim jacket, there were a lot of functional details to show such as a collar, button color, and fabric. Long storytelling was needed to introduce including planning in the office, what fabric to use, where to saw, and what factory to use. To show the functions of RFID(Radio-frequency identification) Blocking pocket, and keyring, we gave directions to a model to seem to be actually using. By adding graphics and narration, we could produce long storytelling not boring when the customers watched it. As an internal studio of Woodies Clothing, we tried our best to solve to project quickly and efficiently.
Result & Impact
We could film in a day including many functional parts such as composition, editorials, photos, and social media. The crowdfunding was finished successfully with the Denim Jacket and achieved $141,580 from the target amount of $20,000. Jacob was able to his own product because we worked as his internal studio.
